Creating beautiful products shouldn't come at the expense of the planet. From the materials we choose to the people we work with, we carefully consider every stage of the process to create products that are made to last and produced as responsibly as possible.

Thoughtfully Sourced Paper

All of the paper used across our stationery and prints is acid-free, recyclable, elemental chlorine free and 100% FSC® certified. This means the materials have been responsibly sourced from well-managed forests, helping to protect wildlife, biodiversity and the communities that depend on them.

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) works to ensure forests are managed to the highest environmental and social standards, so you can shop knowing your purchase supports responsible forestry for generations to come.

Made in the UK

Wherever possible, we work with trusted independent suppliers here in the UK to keep our supply chain local and reduce unnecessary transportation.

Our greetings cards and prints are produced in-house in small batches to minimise waste, while our 100% cotton tea towels are made to order in the UK by a small family-run business. This means we only produce what we need, helping to avoid excess stock and unnecessary waste.

Our coasters are also proudly made to order in the UK by another independent family-run manufacturer, allowing us to support small British businesses while keeping production close to home.

Plastic-Conscious Packaging

We aim to keep our packaging as environmentally friendly as possible without compromising on protecting your order.

Our greetings cards are packaged in 100% biodegradable cellophane sleeves, helping to keep them safe while avoiding conventional plastic packaging. Every order is packed using paper-based materials wherever possible, including board-backed envelopes, cardboard boxes and paper tape.

We also reuse packaging materials that we receive from our suppliers whenever we can, helping to reduce waste and extend the life of existing materials. Once your order arrives, we encourage you to reuse or recycle the packaging wherever possible.

Plantable Seeded Cards

Many of our greetings cards are also available on plantable seeded paper. Once enjoyed, the card can be planted to grow a beautiful mix of wildflowers, providing valuable food for bees, butterflies and other pollinators throughout the year.

Handmade, Not AI

Every byTilly illustration begins as an original hand-painted watercolour artwork.

We don't use AI to generate our illustrations or products. Instead, every design is created by hand, from the initial painting through to the finished collection, celebrating the craftsmanship, creativity and individuality behind every piece.
